Overnight Stop @ Fantasy Springs Casino - March 25, 2009

We got out of the RV campground in Scottsdale, AZ. @ 11:00 am on Saturday and by the time we got to Palm Springs, CA. it was past 5:00 pm. We saw a tall building next to Interstate 10 and guessed correctly that it was a casino. As we got closer, we saw quite a few RV's parked and since we were tired and hungry, we decided to stop over and eat an early dinner and then take advantage of the free overnight parking at the Fantasy Springs Casino.

This was a huge Indian casino and the minute we walked in, it reminded us of Las Vegas. The hotel was luxurious and I've never seen so many slots and table games. It even has 24 lane bowling alley.

We went back to the RV after dinner and had a restful sleep until mid-morning. We then proceeded back to the interstate and continued on back home and got to Rohnert Park early Sunday evening.

It was a long trip but lots of fun and filled with memories that we will all cherish forever.
